Background: The first specialized cardiac hospital in the south-west part of Bangladesh. It came into place being an affiliate of India’s Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. This is the first of its kind healthcare facility in this region which offers Interventional Catheterization, Coronary Angioplasty, Renal Angioplasty, Device Closures, PaceMaker Implantation, Primary PCI in acute MI cases, Cardiothoracic Surgery etc.
